• In-depth knowledge of Commercial layer farming practices, including bird nutrition, health, and farm management.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle emergencies effectively

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools and farm management software is a plus

• Willingness to reside in farm locations

• Oversee daily agricultural activities, such as feeding, watering, lighting, medication, vaccination, and ventilation systems, to guarantee optimal flock development

• Oversee flock well-being, efficiency, and total farm output, taking corrective actions when necessary

• Plan and manage farm resources, including feed, medicine, vaccines, and equipment, ensuring their proper utilization and availability

• Oversee the implementation of biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks and ensure flock health and vaccination programs

• Maintain accurate records of flock performance, mortality rates, feed consumption, and other key metrics

• Prepare and submit timely reports to senior management on farm operations and performance

• Lead and supervise farm staff, providing training and guidance to ensure adherence to best practices

• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment among farm personnel

• Ensure all farm activities comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulations

• Stay updated on industry trends and standards to maintain farm competitiveness
