Responsibilities & Context:

Context:

Manage the entire Quality Control department for plastic furniture (chairs, tables, racks) and household products (buckets, bowls, storage boxes, etc.). Ensure that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet company quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable BDS/ISO standards while minimizing defects, rejections, and customer complaints.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of incoming raw materials, including PP, HDPE, GPPS, and other approved polymers, packaging materials, and purchased components.

  • Monitor quality throughout the injection molding and other relevant production processes.

  • Ensure first-piece approval and compliance with approved product specifications, dimensions, weight, color, appearance, and functionality.

  • Identify and control defects such as short shots, flash, sink marks, warpage, black spots, scratches and color variations.

  • Inspect finished plastic furniture and household products before packing and dispatch.

  • Ensure proper identification, segregation and documentation of non-conforming materials and products.

  • Develop, implement and maintain quality procedures, inspection checklists, work instructions and quality standards.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable BDS/ISO standards, customer specifications and company quality policies.

  • Conduct internal quality audits and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

  • Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, product traceability and other relevant reports.

  • Supervise laboratory testing and inspection of raw materials and finished products.

  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments and testing equipment.

  • Verify test results and maintain accurate laboratory records.

  • Coordinate with external laboratories and certification bodies when required.
