Additional Requirements:
  • Age At most 40 years
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Part qualified Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (ACCA/ICAB)

  • Knowledge of the IIA’s IPPF, COSO Guidance, ISO 31000; Corporate Governance.

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a professional audit capacity.

  • Excellent team player.

  • Ability to perform multiple assignments under limited supervision

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to present and experience of working in an ERP environment.

  • Excellent data analysis skills and a Critical Thinker



Responsibilities & Context:

Promote Ethical Standards: Promote the highest standards of ethics and standards across the organization based on the principles of integrity, objectivity, competency, due professional care, and confidentiality.

Audit Planning and Execution:

  • a. Assists in preparing a risk-based internal audit plan.
  • b. Independently perform assigned engagements in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • c. Plan engagements effectively.
  • d. Conduct engagement work, including:
  • (i) Identifying and defining issues.
  • (ii) Reviewing and analyzing data, information, and evidence.
  • (iii) Documenting processes.
  • e. Maintain working papers.

Reporting and Recommendations:

  • a. Prepare draft audit reports in a precise manner, along with accurate root-cause analysis and actionable recommendations to create, protect, and sustain organizational value.
  • b. Communicate engagement results and monitor action plans.
  • Continuous Improvement and Relationships:
  • a. Evaluate current auditing procedures and propose changes as needed.
  • b. Develops and maintains productive relationships throughout the organization and within the department.

Other Responsibilities:

  • a. Regularly visit plants as and when required.
  • b. Perform other related work as assigned by HIA.
