Education:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

• Minimum Four years of working experience in power generation facility or any process industry preferably in CCPP with at least one year at supervisory level. Or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/ Power engineering with minimum Seven years of working experience in power generation facility or any process industry preferably in CCPP with at least one year at supervisory level. Additional professional training is preferred.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, electrical systems, and control systems used in power generation or process industries.
• Ability to interpret logic, drawings and schematics and apply logical understanding for troubleshooting and system analysis.
• Hands-on experience with IC&E equipment, supported by formal training at manufacturer facilities or job sites.
• Proficiency in using tools, test equipment, and calibration devices for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with a foundational understanding of chemistry, physics, electricity, and mathematics.
• Ability to remain calm and make clear decisions during emergency situations.
• Ability to interpret computer-generated data, instrumentation readings, gauges, and color variations accurately.
• Computer literacy, including familiarity with control system interfaces, standard office applications and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Manual expertness to operate keyboards, pushbuttons, dials, valves, and other mechanical actuating devices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

The Assistant Manager – IC&E is responsible for supervising and coordinating all Instrumentation, Control, and Electrical (IC&E) maintenance activities within the plant. This includes overseeing work performed by IC&E maintenance engineers and when necessary, executing maintenance tasks directly. The role also involves cross-training to support IC&E maintenance and plant operations. Key responsibilities include planning and organizing maintenance work, managing resources, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The Assistant Manager will maintain a safe and healthy work environment while considering the environmental impact of all activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily activities of IC&E Maintenance Engineers, ensuring efficient execution of all maintenance tasks.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain plant electrical, and control equipment to support uninterrupted operations.

• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and cost control.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including technical drawings, vendor records, and equipment maintenance logs.

• Actively contribute to environmental and safety programs, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 compliance.

• Assist with procurement by preparing requisitions for parts and supplies.

• Oversee maintenance of plant mobile equipment and ensure operational readiness.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment across the shop and plant.

• Mentor and train team members to enhance technical skills and overall performance.

• Support budget planning and monitor maintenance costs to ensure financial efficiency.

• Cross-train in Mechanical and IC&E disciplines to extend technical expertise.

• Provide operational support during plant activities as required.

• Promote positive community relations and represent the company professionally.
