Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager/ Deputy - Sales & Marketing is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, managing banking partnerships, maintaining government relations and ensuring excellent client relationship management. The role requires strong leadership to guide sales and marketing teams, achieve targets and expand the software adoption across educational institutions nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Target & Business Development
• Set monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets, assign them to the team and review performance weekly.
• Identify institutional needs and promote School, College and University ERP solutions across different districts.
• Conduct product presentations, demos, negotiations and prepare proposals, quotations and contracts as required.
• Oversee new institutional onboarding, forecast revenue and plan territory expansion.
2. Marketing Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement marketing strategies as per management guidelines and provide daily direction to the marketing team.
• Plan and run joint campaigns with different banks and financial institutions, targeting educational institutions and represent the company in seminars, corporate presentations and teachers’ meetings.
• Monitor competitors, gather market information and conduct three Zoom meetings monthly along with yearly physical meetings.
3. Banking Relationship Management
• Coordinate software payment gateway integration with different banks and financial institutions and maintain regular communication with their Head Office and branch officials (GM, DGM, AGM, Managers).
• Work closely with both banks to strengthen partnerships and facilitate the onboarding of schools and colleges through banking channels.
4. Relationship with Government Officers
• Maintain strong professional relationships with key government officials including UNO, Upazila Education Officer, ADC, DC, District Education Officer and other relevant authorities important for business growth.
• Arrange meetings and project presentations in head teachers’ meetings and coordinate with government officials to expand ERP implementation initiatives.
5. Client Relationship Management
• Maintain strong relationships with key institutions and ensure proper after-sales support through the sales and support team.
• Handle client issues quickly, ensure satisfaction, and work on retention and upselling opportunities.
6. Marketing Team Guidelines & Reporting to Management
• Provide daily guidance to the marketing team and hold regular performance and strategy meetings.
• Prepare sales reports and share regular updates with the Managing Director and CEO, along with future growth and expansion plans.
