Educational Requirements:
∎ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or B Sc. with 01 year training in Livestock from any recognized Institute
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
rearing of poultry and livestock
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regular follow up and monitoring of GIGA/IIGA especially in relation to disease management
∎ Assist and advise SHGs regarding species selection, habitat improvement, feeding and rearing of livestock
∎ Assist to prepare vaccination plans for and initiate institutional contacts with stakeholders at local level.
∎ Maintain regular information sharing with line management
∎ Assist SHG member to select, develop and suitable intervention of entrepreneurship.
∎ Monitor effective implementation of project activities through regular field visits.
∎ Collect updated information regularly and visit field at emergency basis;
∎ Check up the feeds quality and group capacity building;
∎ Develop and maintain working relationships with concerned departments (DAE, DLS and others),, agencies, market actors, different associations, partners and stakeholders.
∎ Market visit to be updated himself about feeds, recent medicine and treatment mechanism;
∎ Assist the SHG regarding treatment of livestock;
∎ Maintain daily communication with upper management for updating especial events;
∎ Attend different meeting, training, workshop and other event activities;
∎ Arrange and conduct training at need base or as per activity plan;
∎ Facilitate to strengthen linkage among livestock input companies, community group leaders, SHGs and other leaders involved in IGAs/value chain and strengthen their capacity on livestock
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years field experience in Livestock.
∎ Strong team management skill.
∎ Skill in planning, implementing and budgeting.
∎ Have clear understanding on knowledge management, documentation and reporting skill.
∎ Experience on developing business plan and review
∎ Demonstrated inter-personal, negotiation and multi-tasking skills.
∎ Practicing innovation/creativity and achieving quality results and service.
∎ Good proficiency in English, both written and verbal
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and PowerPoint presentation
∎ Able to drive motorcycle with valid driving license.
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc
∎ Practicing gender and cultural diversity
Salary: Tk. 45000 - 50000 (Monthly)
