Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsibility to supervise the Logistic and Distribution Department.
∎ To arrange Hired transport (Truck) and ensure delivery according to customer requirement
∎ To prepared delivery schedule for crisis moment according to customer requirement
∎ Develop and maintain Distribution and Transportation Policy and ensure that the policy is implemented properly and provide services as per standard.
∎ Controlling transportation and distribution costs by planning the quickest and least costly transport routes.
∎ Coordinating, planning and controlling of inbound and outbound logistic.
∎ Increase effectiveness and efficiency by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process.
∎ Support in developing and implementing Logistics plans in line with Overall responsibility to supervise the Transport Department.
∎ Monitoring transportation costs and review the process policies.
∎ Drive cost/loss analysis in the overall transportation and logistics activities and bring cost efficiency.
∎ Monthly meeting with drivers & tray to solve the major issues.
∎ Purchase new/used vehicles with proper justification. Ensure quality & durability of new/used vehicle purchase & negotiate the price of the newly purchased vehicle.
∎ Arrange training program for the drivers in terms of skill development. Providing training on safe driving, traffic rules & regulations, cleanliness & quality maintenance, company policy.
