Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide expert legal support and advice to the management. Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and internal policies.
∎ Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to our business. Handle legal disputes and litigations, including those arising from employees.
∎ Safeguard intellectual property rights and ensure proprietary methods and technologies are protected.
∎ Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and government rules according to labour law.
∎ Manage and assist the process of all RMG sector cases before various legal bodies.Attend courts to follow up cases from filing to disposal.
∎ Understand the legal issues of different sister concerns and identify legal implications with prior consultation with Management.
∎ Provide guidance on policy making and find optimum solutions within the legal framework on any legal issues referred by the management.
∎ Vet and prepare all sorts of land documents, legal documents, review contracts, agreements, undertaking & any other legal documents as per requirements of the management.
∎ Represent the Group in all legal matters relating to Group specially in High Court & Appellate Division as & when required as per advice of management.
∎ Prepare and draft contracts and any other legal documents relating to the Company and/or review drafts of opinion containing statement of facts as may be required as per requirements of management.
∎ Undertake special initiatives and studies, adoption of policies and rules to resolve different legal disputes specially relating to land and for recovering all dues/outstanding from the market with prior consultation with Management.
∎ One of the leading garments manufacturers in Bangladesh, operating 6 factories and employing over 14,000 dedicated manpower. We are currently seeking a qualified Legal Advisor to guide us in various legal matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of our business, ensuring the legality of our operations, and safeguarding our reputation by guaranteeing that our company strictly follows law guidelines.
