Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, or Business Administration
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a leadership role (Zonal Head / Regional Manager) managing a large team and handling P&L responsibility
Deep understanding of the [Poultry/Dairy/Aqua/Cattle] value chain, feed formulation basics, and farming economics
Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales plans to achieve volume, revenue, and market share targets across the assigned region
Identify new market opportunities, distribution gaps, and potential large-scale integrator clients to expand the customer base
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and farmer buying patterns to adjust pricing strategies, credit policies, and promotional activities
Drive the penetration of high-margin specialized feeds
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Zonal/Area Sales Managers and field officers
Identify training needs and conduct capability-building sessions on technical sales, negotiation, and relationship management
Negotiate commercial terms, manage distributor margins, and ensure channel partner profitability to maintain loyalty
Oversee the resolution of complex customer complaints related to feed quality, delivery logistics, or technical advisory services
Conduct regular "Farmer Meets," field days, and technical seminars to build brand equity and educate end-users
Coordinate with the marketing team to execute branding campaigns, promotional schemes, and digital outreach programs
