Education:
  • M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Industrial Engineering preferred.

Additional Requirements:
  • Chattogram based candidates with hands-on experience in a similar IE role within the RMG industry.

  • Strong understanding of low-SMV production systems and line management.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production lines efficiently.

  • Solid team collaboration and communication skills.

  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in IE software, MS Excel, and reporting tools.

  • Strong leadership and team management capability.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead and manage the Industrial Engineering team across all units.

  • Develop and implement IE strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.

  • Oversee time study, motion study, and SMV calculation standards.

  • Ensure proper line balancing and capacity utilization across production lines.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).

  • Monitor key IE KPIs such as efficiency, utilization, DHU, and throughput against targets.

  • Analyze production data and recommend process optimization strategies.

  • Collaborate with Planning, Production, Quality, and SCM for operational alignment.

  • Standardize processes, methods, and best practices across units.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce operational waste.

  • Lead root cause analysis for productivity loss and inefficiencies.

  • Support new product/style development with SMV and feasibility analysis.

  • Ensure implementation of digital/ERP-based IE tools and systems.

  • Prepare and present performance reports to top management.

  • Develop team capability through training and mentoring.

  • Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and operational standards.

  • Support production planning through capacity analysis and bottleneck identification.
