Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting/Management/Business studies from Public/National University.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist Finance Officer to prepare, manage & control budget for managing the project smoothly;
∎ Review and modification of budget as per project need with proper justification and with the agreement;
∎ Manage all accounts-related letters, documents, registers (payment register, asset register, disbursement register, check register, movement register etc.), manual and policies;
∎ Up-to-date cash book, ledger book, journal, bill & vouchers, bank ledger, and correspondence files;
∎ Co-operate internal and external auditors for completion of all project audits;
∎ Orient project staff on financial and accounting rules, formats etc;
∎ Visit field activities to check related records, documents and to ensure that project financial resources are utilized properly;
∎ Support Finance Officer o maintain correspondence with donors and other stakeholders;
∎ Check/review PR in compliance with the approved budget for all kinds of procurement. Collect quotations, arrange tender, prepare bid summary and Purchase Order (PO) as and when necessary, according to the Shushilan procurement policies and procedures;
∎ Prepare financial report including budget and expenditure as per agreed plan with HELVETAS-Bangladesh (Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annually etc.) and submit it to direct line manager;
∎ Undertake all kinds of financial security measures and compliance-related issues as per policy;
∎ Keep records of Field Office store inventory, ensure the accuracy and availability to meet up the requirements of Field Office.
∎ Ensure security and safe custody of all documents related to the responsibility;
∎ Ensure advance to the project staff for field operation, staff travelling, etc and adjustment in time;
∎ Perform monitoring and guidance to the project staff to maintain financial procedures for their expenses;
∎ Prepare project staff salary statement and take appropriate measure for payment in time;
∎ Take care of project financial filing and ensure all financial documents are well organized;
∎ Make payments after verification of the accuracy, validity, legitimacy of all documentation ensuring, completeness of financial documents, (purchase requests, work orders, invoices), proper coding and approval by responsible managers before payments are made;
∎ Review and ensure the correctness of monthly accounts and cash & bank reconciliations for timely submission into Accounting system (Through TALLY software);
∎ Ensure deduction of VAT & Tax from vendors/suppliers bill and deposit to bank as per Govt. rules;
∎ Ensure logistic support to arrange different training, workshop, purchase train/bus/biman ticket as per project requirement, booking Hotels for ensuring accommodation;
∎ Arrange hired vehicle timely for project staffs to visit field smoothly;
∎ Supervise support staff and prepare Annual Performance Agreement (APA) and submit to Project Manager.
∎ Provide on the job training, coaching, and mentoring to the support staff working in field office.
∎ Initiate and process all HR related correspondence and file them correctly.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 05 years experiences with accounting and financial management
∎ Familiar with soft-ware based accounting system
∎ Has knowledge on VAT/Tax compliance
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Practicing gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
∎ Able to drive motorcycle and will have valid driving license.
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc

Salary: Tk. 32000 - 33000 (Monthly)
