Responsibilities & Context:
Assisting in the day-to-day running of the broiler unit, ensuring bird welfare is a top priority at all times
Managing, motivating, and training farm assistants in all operational areas
Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of bird performance, feed, and supplies, and communicating this effectively with the Farm Manager
Taking charge in the Farm Manager`s absence, which includes handling alarms and emergency call-outs
Ensuring work complies with legal guidelines and actively seeks to reduce environmental impact, such as by managing waste
