Responsibilities & Context:
Saic Group, which is a well-known Private Sector Education Group, directly operates several Medical and Engineering Institutions all over Bangladesh. Now we are looking for Assistant Executive/Executive-IT. The Assistant Executive/Executive - IT will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the institution`s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related activities. This role involves maintaining hardware and software systems, supporting educational technologies, and collaborating with various departments to implement effective IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, servers, and networks.
Ensure the security and integrity of data by implementing appropriate security measures and regular backups.
Manage network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, ensuring reliable connectivity across the institution.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
Assist faculty and staff with IT-related queries and problems, ensuring prompt resolution.
Maintain an IT helpdesk system to track and prioritize support requests.
Train and support faculty and staff in the effective use of educational technologies and digital tools.
Ensure all software licenses are up to date and comply with legal requirements.
Liaise with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, networking, basic programming and CCTV setting.
Fully installed and properly functioning computer systems and accessories.
An efficient software applications and antivirus software on the network.
Dynamically ICT related support to all departments in office.
Experience on IP Telephony system configuration and Maintenance.
Ensure network security and connectivitySet up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
Any other task assigned by management.
