Southeast University (SEU) invites applications under the Office of Vice Chancellor. S(He) would be attached to the Center for the new Academic Strategic Planning & Development Department (CASPDD) under the VC Office. S(He) would assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of the programs, events and activities under the new Center. These would cover the areas of process development, training, monitoring and research with publications. The development areas would cover students, teachers, employers, research and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop progress monitoring systems for teacher performance, research activities, internships and employer interactions.
Liaise with School Deans and Heads of departments for organizing teachers training programs each semester
Coordinate and monitor output from teacher training programs.
Monitor lab, quiz, midterm and final feedback efforts of teachers.
Organize archiving and dissemination of documentation for both graduate and undergraduate research for the industry.
Monitor all graduate and undergraduate thesis students and the research of their respective faculty supervisors each semester
Monitor industry collaborations with Chairs of each department.
Monitor employer satisfaction on SEU graduates.
Coordinate and help set up and holding of annual graduate and undergraduate Research Symposium in each department
Support IRT in organizing Annual Research Day (recurring event around the same time of the year, each year)
Monitor publication, and development progress of teachers.
Arrange workshops for students, teachers and admin for
Research
PhD training program for teachers
Admin training
Arrange round table meetings with the industry for
Sharing industry needs and launching ideas for industry-based research.
Coming up with joint programs to develop SEU interns for nurturing employability skills.
Preparing interns/students for industry employment through skill-based training programs.
Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the University Management and respective departments from time to time.
