Additional Requirements:
Proven experience designing and managing large, complex enterprise and ISP-class networks.
Advanced knowledge of QoS/CoS, traffic shaping, MPLS, and VPN technologies.
Expert in routing protocols.
Strong understanding of Layer-2, Layer-3, and Layer-4 protocols.
Hands-on expertise with voice and messaging systems (SIP, RTP, SMPP, E1, SMSC).
Deep knowledge of firewall policies, DDoS mitigation, IPsec/GETVPN, and enterprise security frameworks.
Responsibilities & Context:
Design, deploy, and optimize secure LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networks with scalability.
Configure and maintain MPLS networks delivering L2VPN, L3VPN, and advanced services with redundancy and QoS.
Manage IIG, NIX, and IX traffic with BGP load balancing, redundancy, policy enforcement, and cache node optimization.
Implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and DDoS mitigation.
Provide escalation support for retail networks, SMSC, and VoIP services, resolving complex issues and client escalations.
Lead network projects, cross-functional initiatives, and technology adoption.
