Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum S.S.C with at least 2nd Division.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Excellent knowledge on maintaining hygiene & cleanliness.
∎ Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.
∎ Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services.
∎ Instruct other workers in the garnishing, and presentation of food.
∎ Order or requisition food and other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation/delivery.
∎ Analyze recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labor, and overhead costs.
∎ Arrange for cooking related equipment purchases and repairs.
∎ Meet with customers to discuss menus for programs.
∎ Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for programs.
∎ Assist activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
∎ Check the quantity and quality of received products.
∎ Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
∎ Ability to maintain inventories, records of expenses and cost effectiveness.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and serve large groups maintaining quality standard.
∎ Promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity & equality, child/staff protection & safeguard, inclusiveness, accessibility and discrimination free environment in the workplace and operations/activities/plans. In applicable cases, ensure that necessary budget allocation is there and in KPIs these issues are reflected regarding employees under supervision.
∎ Render any other supports as required/requested by the office.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ At least 2 years of experience in professional catering. Preference will be given to those candidates with adequate experience in nutrition.
∎ Certification from a professional institute on cooking/catering trade would be an added advantage.
∎ Good command on communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Good computer operating skill & conversant with MS Office package.
∎ Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
Salary: Negotiable
