∎ Role Purpose:
∎ To support the arts team to manage arts projects` design implementation, budget management and monitoring and evaluation, to achieve agreed impact outlined in the country, regional and global strategies. The post holder will also need to assist, and when delegated, lead on the implementation of events and activities working with other teams of the British Council on agreed timeline.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Management:
∎ Co-ordinate the delivery of specified project activities and undertake specified technical/ support tasks (e.g., liaise with - event management, vendors, internal support teams) to meet agreed targets.
∎ Support the delivery of the agreed arts project activities in accordance with British Council standards.
∎ Finance and Compliance Administration:
∎ Follow British Council procedures (project, financial and risk reporting) to ensure compliance with all financial systems and standards. Working with the procurement team to ensure financial compliance and risk management according to British Council policies for the Arts budget.
∎ Contribute to plan costs and preparing budgets for the different Arts activities.
∎ Supporting the Project Manager to keep the budget on track by timely processing expenditures and income.
∎ Communication, Digital and other administrative tasks:
∎ Being the Marcom Focal Point, work closely with local and regional Communication and Digital team for promoting Arts programmes both in online and offline platforms.
∎ Work closely with Arts Managers and local Communication and Digital team and proactively monitor and report on agreed promotions
∎ Proactively assist Arts Managers to manage Results and Evidence Framework (REF) for the Arts Projects by capturing and recording the REF numbers.
∎ Manage the British Council online event calendar for internal and external audience.
∎ Stakeholder Management:
∎ Liaise with the external contacts in partner organizations and other suppliers for achieving better outcome for arts projects.
∎ Manage relationships with the identified stakeholders in a professional manner in line with the British Council standards.
∎ Visit different arts institutions and events and activities to collect information to develop future arts projects. In doing so, learn and develop networks in arts communities and build relationships with artists in Bangladesh.
∎ Support Project Manager, nurture and maintain relationships for smooth project delivery
∎ EDI Requirement:

∎ Ability to communicate clearly in digital and real-world situation.
∎ Arts or creative skills (e.g. Photography, Videography and editing, Creative writing etc.)
∎ Minimum/essential:
∎ Two years' work experience in project management.
∎ A track record of active interest in the arts sector.
∎ Desirable:
∎ Relevant experience in the Arts Sector
