Responsibilities & Context:

Area Service Executive (ASE)

The Area Service Executive acts as a vital link between the regional management and individual service centers/outlets, focusing on operational execution and adherence to service standards. This role is generally more focused on field operations, quality control, and direct support for a specific area, while the Area Service Manager is a leadership and strategic role responsible for the overall performance of the service centers in their defined region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Center Audits & Compliance: Regularly visit and inspect authorized service centers (ASC/FASC) within the assigned area to ensure compliance with Carlcare standards, policies, and procedures (e.g., proper branding, cleanliness, parts management).
  • Quality Control: Monitor and ensure the quality of repairs and service delivery meets company benchmarks for itel, TECNO, and Infinix devices.
  • Operational Support: Address on-site operational issues, provide training to service center staff on new products, repair processes, and system updates.
  • Parts & Inventory Management: Oversee spare parts stock, ensure timely ordering, reconciliation, and prevent misuse or misplacement of original parts.
  • SLA Management: Monitor and help centers meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) like repair turnaround time (TAT) and first-time fix rates.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular field visit reports, quality inspection reports, and operational performance feedback to the Area Service Manager.
  • Overall Area Performance: Take full ownership of all after-sales service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the region, including customer satisfaction (CSAT), service revenue, repair quality, and operational cost management.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement service strategies to improve efficiency, reduce repair costs, and enhance the customer experience for itel, TECNO, and Infinix users.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Oversee and manage a team of Area Service Executives and Service Center Supervisors/Managers within the area. This includes hiring, training, performance reviews, and motivation.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Manage the operational budget for the area, control costs, and approve high-value expenditures related to service center infrastructure and operations.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Maintain strong relationships with service partners, distributors, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of systemic issues.
  • Escalation & Crisis Management: Act as the final point of escalation for complex customer complaints or service center operational crises, ensuring professional and timely resolution.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze service performance data, identify market trends, forecast future service needs (parts/staffing), and present comprehensive reports to the Regional or National Service Head.
