Job Responsibilities:
∎ Effective Managements of assigned budget for the area by Control & Effective Usage of Set Budgets
∎ Develop, execute and entrench a direct distribution footprint plan for the assigned area comprising of multiple territories
∎ Maintain Required Distribution Standard and Service Levels of the assigned geographic area
∎ Maintain Adequate relationship with Distributors and Trade in order to enhance overall sales performance of the assigned area.
∎ Manager Distributors ROI.
∎ Managing & Guiding Territory Sales Managers to deliver agreed sales and distribution objectives
∎ Developing, agreeing and delivering the Annual Sales & Distribution plan for the sales area.
∎ Setting up the Sales Management infrastructure - defining sales territory, Super and Sub
∎ Distribution network, outlet classification by channels, channel management plans of the geographic area, training and capability building, key metrics for measurement.
∎ Understanding the Channel Plans and develop implementation plans.
∎ Use of IT - for evaluating performance against action std.
∎ Performance review - against action standards. Network and take actions where inputs are required from the CSR's, DSR's wrt width and depth of availability, assortment and shelving
∎ Understanding competitive context and activity and give market feed-back to head office
∎ Implement strategies agreed by Management to achieve Sales Targets within the given time frame.
∎ Implement, Monitor & Evaluate all the activities agreed with the respective departments
∎ Plan and carry out trade marketing activities/ promotions to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
∎ Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information on timely basis.
∎ Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
∎ Develop own knowledge
∎ Train / Coach field force in the region
∎ Handle Product Complains
∎ Identifying new business opportunities
∎ Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the territory in terms of: economy, population, pattern of spending etc.
∎ Act as an ambassador of the Company
∎ Be equipped with the latest product knowledge including information of competitors
∎ (Distribution methods, ways of improving the sales of retail and distribution management)
