The AC will need to have a valid motorcycle license and the ability to ride a motorcycle around the areas of responsibility at all hours of the day and evening.

The Area Coordinator will manage all the operations of our Girls Empowerment Program in 6-8 village locations throughout parts of Khulna Division.

Main responsibilities will include: managing a team of 2-3 other full-time staff, 15 part-time teachers, and several interns; planning and implementing various training events in village areas; overseeing the empowerment and education of up to 400 girls in our GEP from grades 6 through 12; and otherwise monitoring and overseeing all GEP operations in the area of responsibility. The Area Coordinator will also oversee the financial operations in these 6-8 villages and be able to plant and oversee budgeting and accounting for these 6-8 village areas.

The Area Coordinator will be in the field at least 75% of the time, going between field locations and schools and family visits and will preferably have a motorcycle and license to be able to efficiently travel between village locations.

The Area Coordinator will be based out of our Field Office in Chuknagor and have an office space there. The AC will report to our Field Manager.
