Experience:
B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
5-8 years of relevant experience in denim laundry/washing production, preferably in a reputed garments or textile manufacturing organization as AGM or DGM.
Strong knowledge of denim washing, wet and dry processes, wash recipe development, PP, shade band, ozone treatment, and LID processes.
Proven experience in production planning, manpower management, machine utilization, chemical optimization, cost control, and shipment management.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve production, quality, and shipment targets.
Good knowledge of computerized and automatic laundry machinery.
Strong understanding of SOPs, safety, PPE, housekeeping, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
Plan, organize, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly laundry production activities to achieve production and shipment targets.
Coordinate with Merchandising team for first bulk approval, production execution, and delivery according to the approved schedule.
Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for wet and dry processes to ensure consistent bulk production execution.
Finalize base wash counters, PP, wash recipes, recipe corrections, final washes, shade bands, and related production standards.
Conduct process and risk analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for production and quality issues.
Monitor chemical application, liquor ratio, washer temperature, cycle time, and other critical process parameters according to approved wash recipes.
Control and optimize chemical consumption, rework, rejection, production cost, and process losses.
Monitor and control Ozone Treatment and LID (Low Impact Denim) processes according to customer and company requirements.
Ensure maximum utilization of machines, materials, chemicals, manpower, and production capacity.
Monitor production schedules and action.
