Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement robust sales and marketing strategies specifically for denim and woven products to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets.
∎ Segment markets, target potential buyers, and develop detailed buyer portfolio research and approach plans.
∎ Provide strategic inputs to the design and product development teams for new collections and innovations.
∎ Lead and manage the sales process from order procurement to shipment, ensuring smooth coordination with production and planning teams.
∎ Identify and secure new business partnerships and direct buyers.
∎ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, both locally and internationally.
∎ Monitor sales performance metrics, generate reports, and analyze data to adjust strategies for maximizing sales and profitability.
∎ Conduct tactical negotiations with buyers to achieve favorable pricing and terms.
∎ Responsible for achieving top and bottom-line targets for the denim and woven categories.
∎ Collaborate with product development, R&D, and production teams to ensure the development of quality fabrics and garments that meet buyer specifications and desired qualities.
∎ Ensure smooth production process follow-up, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards.
∎ Facilitate sample development as per product packages and manage the approval process with buyers.
∎ Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and sales revenue for denim and woven products.
∎ Ensure a consistent and professional brand look through all marketing communications.
∎ Guide the team in marketing activities and policies to promote products and services.
∎ Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse sales and marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture.
∎ Recruit, develop, and retain talent within the marketing department.
∎ Job Summary: The AGM/DGM-Sales &Marketing (Denim &Woven) is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for denim and woven products. This role focuses on driving business growth, increasing market share, and enhancing brand positioning within the textile industry. The AGM/DGM will lead a team, manage key client relationships, analyze market trends, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful delivery of products from concept to customer.
