Experience:
BBA (Major in Finance & Banking) from any reputed university.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum 12 years of experience (including at least 3 years in senior position in a Group of Companies or Bank/ Financial institute).
Candidates having experience in commercial banks or financial institutions will be given preference.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS).
Well-versed in Companies Act 1994, Income Tax Ordinance 1984, VAT & SD Act 2012, and Bangladesh Labor Law.
Strong command in ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
Must have good command in MS office, MS Excel (advanced level), MS PowerPoint & E-mail communication.
Able to build up strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Good presentation and facilitation skills.
Job Context:
The incumbent will be responsible for leading the overall financial management of the Group, including budgeting, fund planning, and maintaining effective correspondence with banks and financial institutions. The position requires ensuring sound financial control, compliance, and smooth fund flow for business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and monitor annual budget, forecast, and financial planning for the group and its subsidiaries.
Maintain regular liaison with commercial banks and financial institutions, and capital market institutions.
Negotiate and manage loan facilities, L/C, TR, OD, bank guarantee, and project finance.
Prepare necessary documents for loan renewal, restructuring, and credit rating.
Ensure proper utilization of funds and monitor repayment schedules and interest costs.
Build and sustain strong relationships with relationship managers and financial partners.
Ensure cost control, fund management, and working capital optimization.
Conduct financial analysis and prepare report to support management to take decisions.
Prepare cash flow statements, fund flow projections, and capital expenditure planning.
Manage consolidation of group financial reports and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Liaise with BIDA, Bangladesh Bank, and other financial authorities.
Ensure compliance with internal control systems, audit requirements, and corporate governance guidelines.
Monitor foreign exchange transactions and maintain correspondence with Bangladesh Bank when applicable.
Collaborate with other departments (SEO, treasury, tax, legal, operations) to align financial strategy with business goals.
Lead training and skill development initiatives for the finance department staff.
