Good communication skills and conversational command of English (spoken and written). Excellent analytical, conceptual and report writing skills. Ability to work in complex environments and ability to meet deadlines Excellent computer skills (particularly MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point Presentation etc.). Available for frequent local and national travel
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Advisor- Education and Child Protection will be responsible for ensuring quality delivery of the Education and Child Protection related interventions in the HEKS Country Programme in Bangladesh.
∎ S/he will provide thematic and technical guidance to the implementing partner organizations promoting the growth of the education and child protection portfolio ensuring better retention and continuation in schools and protection of children from all kinds of abuse, exploitation and harmful practices.
∎ S/he will be responsible in ensuring that the Education and Child Protection related interventions are aligned with HEKS/EPER’s internal policies and donor guidelines, and globally proven approaches are contextualized for Bangladesh.
