  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player.

  • Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills

Position Summary:

  • Tetra Tech is recruiting an experienced Administrative Officer in support of the USAID Bangladesh Advancing Development and Growth through Energy (BADGE) project. The Administrative Officer will be responsible for providing all kinds of Administrative and Logistics support for BADGE Project. The candidate will take care the all kinds of travel arrangement, vehicle management, maintaining event and meeting schedule, office repair and maintenance etc. This position is full-time, and hiring is contingent upon USAID approval. Interested candidates must be eligible to work in Bangladesh.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and provide guidance to visitors arriving at the office.

  • Assist the COP and DCOP in maintaining meeting schedules, drafting correspondence letters, and other assigned duties.

  • Liaise with the home office on weekly project management and operations meetings

  • Support logistics and budget planning for project meetings, retreats, team conferences, training, and office events to include scheduling, online meeting setup, reviewing/editing and printing materials, travel arrangements, event meals, participant lists etc.

  • Take meeting notes and prepare the first draft of the meeting minutes.

  • Support in travel arrangements including international and domestic travel, hotels, transportation for BADGE project team.

  • Management of BADGE office vehicle.

  • Maintain and keep up-to-date travel trackers and event schedules.

  • Maintain the inventory of office supplies, monthly stock report, and raise Procurement Requisition for office supplies when needed and ensure the delivery.

  • Ensure the office cleanliness, office maintenance and repair.

  • Provide general logistics and administrative support to BADGE Staff.

  • Assist in record keeping of deliverables in hard and electronic copy

  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
