Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have a strong leadership skill with demonstrated ability to chalk out effective business development plan with ability to motive, train, control and groom people according to Company's goal.
∎ Should have proven familiarity about the Insurance Act and Rules as well as analytical knowledge about the competitive life insurance products in the market to revise and plan the development and tailoring of new and existing DLICL products and services, motivate team members to enhance DLICL overall brand loyalty.
∎ Should have the ability to supervise the implementation of the provisions of all relevant laws and regulator's direction in connection with the operation of life insurance business;
∎ Have to adopt of plans for development of computerized automation system for all operational function by the IT Programmer of the Company and closed oversee the implementation of plan of works of computerized automation system regularly.
∎ Should have experience in taking necessary steps to bring discipline in the financial management of the company.
∎ Must have capacity to review from time to time the premium income along with management expenses including the cost of business procurement in accordance with organizational / field office wise business portfolio of the company.
∎ Should have experiences to transparency of premium income, management expenses within allowable limit, investment and all related matters as per insurance laws.
∎ Should have also experience about the analysis and reconciliation of direct and indirect cost of business collection with price of products and cost of Re-insurance.
∎ Should have wide experience about Income Tax Laws, VAT Laws, Money Laundering Laws, Stamp Act, Contract Act, Labor Laws, Companies Laws, Financial Reporting Act, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Laws, Management and Internal Control Procedures, Corporate Governance Code, National Insurance Policy, Insurance Core Principles (ICP),IFRS, BAS, BSA, Accounts and Financial Rules Discipline& Control Procedures for a Life Insurance Company.
∎ Should have experiences in taking necessary steps in order to the sale of 40% public share of the paid-up capital of the Company as per Schedule-1 of the Insurance Act, 2010 in accordance with the provisions of Public Issue Rules, 2015 of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission by inviting public offer.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 15/20 years' experience of the Life Insurance Company with at least 3(three) years as Deputy Managing Director or Additional Managing Director or equivalent position
∎ Strong communication & services skills self-motivated and fulfill the company's strategic goal.
∎ Review, monitor and report on market and competitor activities and take necessary measures to revise of Diamond Life Insurance Company Ltd.
