My work responsibilities are cover a wide range of tasks related to the successful execution of the project (Sub-Station equipment, BBT, Generator, Elevator/Lift, Escalator, Lighting, Central Air Conditioning System (HVAC), Fire Detection & Protection System, Solar System, Pump, CCTV, Ventilation System, Plumbing System, Deep Tube Well, DATA & Telephone System, PA System, Satellite TV, Access Control System, Car Parking Management System, Internal Mobile Network System etc.) for Commercial, Residential and Industrial Projects and report to the Managing Director as daily & weekly of the work updated. Here is a comprehensive list of my MEP (Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing) implementation work description / responsibilities are given below:

1.     Electrical Project Management: Ensure the systematic planning, execution, and control of electrical construction or maintenance projects to ensure completion on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety codes and technical specifications. It involves coordinating resources, managing subcontractors, and reducing risks.

 2.     Design Review and Coordination: Collaborate with the project team, architects, and other engineers to review the MEP design plans. Ensure seamless coordination and integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

 3.     Code and Regulation Compliance: Ensure that all MEP designs and installations adhere to local building codes, safety regulations and industry standards.

 4.     Mechanical System Design: Oversee the design of the mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, to provide optimal comfort and indoor air quality for the building`s occupants.

5.     Electrical System Design: Lead the electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, communication, and security systems, ensuring reliable and efficient electrical supply throughout the building.

 6.     Plumbing System Design: Manage the design of the plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems, to meet the needs of the building`s occupants and ensure water efficiency.

 7.     Fire Protection System Design: Coordinate the design and installation of fire protection systems, such as sprinklers and fire alarms, to ensure the safety of the building and its occupants.

 8.     Energy Efficiency and Sustainability: Implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices in MEP systems to reduce energy consumption and promote environmental responsibility.

 9.     Load Calculations: Conduct accurate load calculations for electrical and mechanical systems to determine the building`s energy demands and size equipment accordingly.

 10.  Equipment Selection: Select appropriate MEP equipment, such as Substation Equipment, HVAC units, pumps, generators, elevator, escalator, solar system, lighting, communication, and security systems, electrical panels and fixtures, considering performance, efficiency, and project budget.

 11.  Cost Estimation and Effectiveness: Prepare cost estimates for the MEP systems, ensuring alignment with the project`s budgetary constraints. Oversee the procurement of MEP equipment, materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely delivery & waste control.

 12.  Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify that MEP installations meet the required standards and specifications.

 13.  Commissioning and Testing: Participate in MEP system commissioning activities, conducting tests to verify proper functioning and performance.

 14.  Safety and Risk Mitigation: Ensure that all MEP installations prioritize safety and identify potential risks during the implementation process.

 15.  Quality and Standard Maintenance: Ensuring the quality service and maintenance work (cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and part replacements) as regular / routine / periodic to seamless operation of electrical and mechanical equipment / item as per standard and following the manufacturer’s guidance.

 16.  Coordinate with the Authorities: To liaison with various authorities (DESCO, DPDC, BREB, City Corporation, WASA, Fire Station, and Police Station) for related work.

 17.  Resource Management: First preparing designs and requirements based on the materials at hand and reducing waste. Allocating materials, labor, and related materials and equipment efficiently.

 18.  Speed Boat Maintenance: Ensuring the quality service and maintenance work (cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and part replacements) as regular / routine / periodic to seamless operation of Engine, Boat Hull and also electrical system as per standard and following the manufacture’s guidance.

 19.  Civil Maintenance Coordination: Ensuring the quality maintenance work (cleaning, painting, inspections, repairing, and part replacements) on time based on uses and demand to seamless operation and beatification as per standard and following the guidance.

 20.  After Sales Service & Customer Relations: Follow-up with the customers and related issues (civil-electrical-plumbing) resolve after proper diagenesis with the guideline based on agreement. This service is focused on fostering long-term customer loyalty, satisfaction, and brand reputation.

21.  Any Other’s responsibilities as when ordered by the Management.
