Additional Requirements:
Minimum 2–5 years experience in Shipping Agency / Port Operations Accounts
Sound knowledge of PDA, port tariffs, and shipping documentation
Must have strong English communication skills (both written & spoken)
Ability to correspond independently with vessel owners, charterers, and foreign principals regarding PDA, FDA, and port matters
Capable of drafting professional emails and financial statements
Responsibilities & Context:
Handle Port-related accounts and documentation
Prepare and manage PDA (Proforma Disbursement Account)
Finalize FDA (Final Disbursement Account)
Maintain vessel-wise expense statements
Coordinate with port authorities, suppliers, stevedores, and ship masters
Assist in vessel operations when required / Operational knowledge of vessel handling will be an advantage
Monitor payments, receivables, and vendor settlements
Ensure proper record keeping and reporting
