∎ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
∎ Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
∎ Knowledge of VAT, tax, and compliance regulations in Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, assisting in financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in restaurant or hospitality accounting.
∎ Key Responsibilities:-
∎ Daily Transactions: Record and verify all daily sales and expenses. Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions. Manage petty cash and ensure timely reimbursements.
∎ Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Maintain accurate ledger entries for purchases, payments, and receipts. Reconcile bank statements and cash flow records. Ensure vendor and supplier payments are processed on time.
∎ Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management. Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
∎ Tax & Compliance: Ensure VAT, tax, and other government compliance requirements are met. Assist in audit preparations and documentation. Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations.
∎ Inventory & Cost Control: Work with the purchasing and store teams to track inventory costs. Monitor food and beverage costs to minimize waste and discrepancies. Assist in stock verification and loss prevention strategies.
