• Minimum 2 years of industrial experience as an agrochemical formulation/pharma chemist is preferred. Fresher welcome

• Proven work experience as a Formulation Chemist or similar role

• Fluent in English and Bangla

• Good communication and reporting skills

• Computer literacy

• Operation of HPLE machine

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

SUROVI AGRO INDUSTRIES LTD. is looking for a Chemist to join our pesticide formulation team at Mukterpur, Munshiganj. Great opportunity for B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry graduates to start their career in agrochemical manufacturing

Responsibilities:

Formulation Chemists have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Design and develop new formulations for products based on the requirements and specifications provided

• Test new formulas in laboratory settings to evaluate their effectiveness, safety, and stability

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the development and manufacturing of products

• Assist in formulation development and batch processing of pesticide products (EC, SC, WP, granules etc.)

• Follow safety and regulatory compliance standards

• Conduct quality control tests and maintain lab records

• Ensure that laboratories resources and equipment’s used are well maintained, protected, and documented as per the function requirements.

• Perform testing and verify accuracy of results

• Conduct laboratory tests and quality control inspections on raw materials and finished products

• Maintain accurate records of formulations, chemical usage and test results

• Monitor batch consistency and report any quality deviations

• Conduct product stability, compatibility, and performance tests

• Prepare and maintain formulation records and technical documentation

• Problem-solving skills to identify and rectify issues during the formulation process

• Perform additional related duties as assigned by the management
