∎ Undertake daily transaction records and ensure accurate financial documentation
∎ Reporting Relationship: Managing Director
∎ Job Location : Dhaka - will require visits to local and international institutions
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information
∎ Document financial transactions by entering account information
∎ Recommend financial actions by analysing accounting options
∎ Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
∎ Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing information
∎ Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
∎ Advise students and their families about bank facilities
∎ Acquire knowledge about overseas university and visa financial requirements and help plan financial packages for students
∎ Liaison with banks and other financial institutions for student inquiries and tie-ups
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 years of experience working preferably working in accounting firms, banks and overseas education
∎ Must have previously worked in a similar role undertaking financial analysis, monitoring, forecasting etc.
∎ Must be proficient in using Tally accounting software and MS. Office i.e Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
∎ Professional, smart, good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
Salary:
∎ BDT. 18,000 to 20,000 (negotiable for exceptional candidates)
