Experiences in hospital will be given preference
Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel and Sound knowledge in IT
Strong communication skills in English and Bengali (Oral and written)
Drafting, proofreading and editing skills
Ability to learn new tasks quickly and cover new roles/requirements at short notice.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Reliability with patience and professionalism
Job Context
Applications are invited from qualified, experienced and self-motivated candidates having sound knowledge in Accounts and Finance for the position of Accounts Officer on prevailing terms and conditions of IAHS-H and associated institutions.
Job Responsibilities
· To maintain up-to-date records of all hospital financial transactions.
· To maintain all necessary books of accounts for respective institutions as assigned.
· To prepare and deliver various analytical reports as required by the authority.
· To have enough knowledge and experience on maintaining cash books, banking, proper knowledge on VAT & Tax, vendor payment, maintaining accounts receivable, payable, etc.
· To oversee patient billing processes and ensure timely generation of invoices.
· To assist in preparing financial statements for audits and board meetings.
· To monitor departmental expenditures against the approved budget.
· To provide budget analysis and forecasting reports to management.
· To ensure preparation and submission of periodic (monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/yearly) financial statements and analysis of financial data and present it to the respective authority.
· To maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
· To support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.
· To implement audit recommendations to improve financial systems.
· To be willing to work under pressure.
· To execute any other duties assigned by the authority.
