Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

Applications are invited from qualified, experienced and self-motivated candidates having sound knowledge in Accounts and Finance for the position of Accounts Officer on prevailing terms and conditions of IAHS-H and associated institutions.

Location: USTC Complex, D Block, Foy’s Lake, Khulshi, Chattogram.

Job Responsibilities

  • To maintain up-to-date records of all hospital financial transactions.

  • To maintain all necessary books of accounts for respective institutions as assigned.

  • To prepare and deliver various analytical reports as required by the authority.

  • To have enough knowledge and experience on maintaining cash books, banking, proper knowledge on VAT & Tax, vendor payment, maintaining accounts receivable, payable, etc.

  • To oversee patient billing processes and ensure timely generation of invoices.

  • To assist in preparing financial statements for audits and board meetings.

  • To monitor departmental expenditures against the approved budget.

  • To provide budget analysis and forecasting reports to management.

  • To ensure preparation and submission of periodic (monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/yearly) financial statements and analysis of financial data and present it to the respective authority.

  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  • To support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.

  • To implement audit recommendations to improve financial systems.

  • To be willing to work under pressure.

  • To execute any other duties assigned by the authority.
