∎ Desirable Masters in Accounting/Finance/ Management. C.A course completed will be advantage.
Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health & WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 9 institutions and 14 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Accounts Officer of WASH Sector. It’s a Dhaka based position which will act as the key person of finance operations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure financial management of the project and central WASH sector.
∎ Central and Project office bill voucher checking and process for approval.
∎ Approval voucher posting to Tally Software.
∎ Cheque issue for ensure payment.
∎ Fund requisition preparation and submit to donor agencies.
∎ Ensure Fund transfer from Mother A/C to Project A/C and field office.
∎ Management cost/Salary Charge bill prepare and collect from field office.
∎ Communication with donor agencies if necessary.
∎ Liaison with banking issues.
∎ Budget prepare for EOI submit, Project wise annual budget.
∎ Prepare FD-2,3,6, 7 for Project approval and fund clearance purpose and close connection with DAM Assign NGOAB focal person.
∎ Follow up previous project’s Plant/Scheme.
∎ Prepare project wise monthly, quarterly and annually financial report and submit to DAM and Donor as per required.
∎ Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statement and fund reconciliation statement.
∎ Support to external audit and internal audit of DAM and NGOAB.
∎ Track and monitor expenditure of activities at field level and provide feedback to project focal or respective supervisor. Ensure proper recording and reporting.
∎ Ensure proper recording and reporting.
∎ Willingness to accept frequent field visit.
∎ To do any other task or assignment which will assigned by higher management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of experience in relevant fields.
∎ Ability to work independently and in a team.
∎ Strong organizational and financial management skills.
∎ Have good knowledge of Accounts and admin with update TDS/VAT regulations.
∎ Experience of donor supported Project.
∎ Good computer skills on Microsoft Office Tools, especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point.
∎ Work experience in the area of NGO Sector.
∎ TALLY ERP-9 accounting software generated experience.
∎ Applicants must have COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
∎ Age at most 45 years (Age may be considered for experienced candidate).
Salary:
∎ Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
∎ Other admissible benefits will be provided as per organizational policy and fund availability.
