Key Roles and Responsibilities
Academic Administration & Awarding-Body Compliance
Administer academic records in line with UK awarding-body regulations, including enrolment status, assessment submissions, results, progression, and certification
Ensure assessment and examination processes comply with awarding-body policies on assessment security, invigilation, moderation, and results processing
Maintain accurate and auditable academic documentation for EQA visits, standardisation meetings, and centre reviews
Support internal quality assurance (IQA) and external quality assurance (EQA) processes by preparing evidence, reports, and records
Assist in organising academic boards, assessment panels, and results approval meetings
Ensure deadlines for assessment submissions, moderation, and results release are met consistently
Examinations & Assessments
Coordinate examination schedules, venues, invigilation arrangements, and secure storage of assessment materials
Manage internal and external assessment timelines in accordance with awarding-body calendars
Ensure examination records, attendance registers, and assessment evidence are complete and securely stored
Support resits, referrals, and special consideration processes in line with institutional and awarding-body procedures
Digital Systems Management (LMS & CRM)
Manage academic workflows using LMS & CRM applications
Maintain student, staff, and agent records within CRM systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Register students across internal systems, LMS platforms, and awarding-body portals where applicable
Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring correct module allocation, learner access, assessment uploads, and academic content availability
Upload assessment outcomes, approved results, and academic updates to student portals in line with results release policies
Ensure academic information published on portals is accurate, authorised, and traceable for audit purposes
