Job Responsibilities:
∎ Service delivery
∎ Support
∎ As a web content manager, you'll need to:
∎ manage your company CMS (Content Management System ) and website up-to-date to ensure it is meeting the needs of your organisation
∎ conduct content audits to identify gaps and redundancies in the site content
∎ create and implement content schedules from raw to produce a page or update content
∎ produce maps and visualisations of the site to help staff understand the structure and function of the website
∎ write and edit web copy
∎ source, commission and sometimes edit images and videos
∎ develop policies relating to your organisation's web content, such as a house style
∎ analyse analytics data to learn how users interact with your site and submit the report
∎ survey users and hold focus groups to learn about how they view your site
∎ train staff in writing and producing content for the web
∎ Update HTML, SUMS, CSS and JavaScript on your site
∎ Stay knowledgeable about your site's subject area.
∎ Effectively evaluate, categorise and investigate incoming support escalating as required.
∎ Ensure stakeholder expectations are met when dealing with support tickets and that issues are resolved within agreed timeframes
∎ Be a central point of contact for website enquiries offering support and guidance.
∎ Develop an excellent working understanding of the CMS (Content Management System ) and website platforms to support all internal teams in using it for the benefit of students.
∎ Make recommendations as part of continuous improvement to streamline processes and procedures to ensure CMS is being used effectively with SEO friendly.
∎ Keep up to date with platform developments and progress to ensure relayed information is kept relevant and that would work for company best interest and visualise.
∎ Reporting and information management
∎ Maintain a log of support issues and ensure smooth communication and resolution between company top management
∎ Maintain a log of website development requests and work with the marketing team to schedule development work
∎ General duties and responsibilities
∎ Undertake training as and when required as part of Continuous Personal Development.
∎ Undertake other such duties as may be reasonably requested by your line manager appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of this post.
∎ Compliance
∎ Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
∎ Develop and adopt industry standard best practice for current platform development techniques with one on one support.
