Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Generating ideas for stories or taking a brief from a news editor/producer.
∎ Researching stories through personal contacts, the internet, and other valid sources
∎ Determine a story's emphasis, length and format, and organizes material accordingly
∎ Recording interviews - in person, or through telephone or studio links and conducting live as per requirement
∎ Produces and presents reports for all platforms of TBN24.
∎ Performs special projects and other duties as assigned by TBN24 authorities.
∎ Attending and reporting on events that are of interest to the public.
∎ Interviewing eye-witnesses, authorities, and people of interest in news stories.
∎ Traveling to events and ensuring the proper maintenance, security, and care of recording equipment.
∎ Working collaboratively with cameramen and other members of a reporting team.
∎ Representing the organization at conferences, press briefings, events, and interviews.
