∎ Excellent writing (News & Social Media Content), editing and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and style.
∎ Capable of delivering news reports and covering events promptly.
∎ Strong understanding of social media platforms, news channel, content trends and audience engagement strategies.
∎ Creative thinking with the ability to generate original ideas and concepts.
∎ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
∎ Strong vocal abilities and expertise in voice-over work are essential.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Create original, compelling content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, emails, and video channels.
∎ Develop content ideas and concepts that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand messaging.
∎ Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality.
∎ Delivering news reports and providing timely event coverage. Visual Content Creation:
∎ Create visual content for news channels and social media, overseeing all stages of production, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
∎ Research and recommend graphics, images, infographics, and videos as references for content creation.
∎ Collaborate with Graphic Designer, Cinematographer, Editor and other creatives to produce multimedia content that enhances user engagement.
∎ Ensure that all visual content is on-brand and aesthetically pleasing.Social Media Management:
∎ Develop and implement social media content calendars, ensuring a consistent posting schedule across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
∎ Monitor social media channels for trends, audience engagement, and feedback, adjusting content strategies accordingly.
∎ Engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner to foster positive relationships.
∎ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product development, to create cohesive and effective content.
∎ Attend brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance content initiatives.
∎ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.
