∎ Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and building codes.
∎ Proficiency in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp etc.).
∎ Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
∎ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
∎ Passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a creative spirit.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate with the design team to develop creative and functional interior design solutions for residential or commercial projects.
∎ Conduct space planning and develop detailed drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections) using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp etc.).
∎ Assist in the selection of finishes, materials, furniture, and equipment, considering aesthetics, functionality, and budget.
∎ Create compelling presentations and documentation to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and collaborators.
∎ Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project designs meet technical feasibility and building codes.
∎ Participate in site visits and provide recommendations for construction details and finishes.
∎ Manage assigned projects effectively, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality control.
