Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree preferably in social work/social science/ arts/humanities/public health or any other relevant field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly work plan with the support from Hygiene Officer.
∎ Promote safe WASH practices in line with relevant standards and codes of conduct
∎ Conducted session with Community Leader, Wash Committee, Model Mothers & Children (LTLP) separately to ensure Community Engagement
∎ Identification of any need for the distribution of non-food items related to public health, such as containers, soap, hygiene kits, etc.
∎ Regular household visit and Joint monitoring with WASH committee members to ensure WASH services adequately functional.
∎ Ensure Capacity Building of the Hygiene Promotion Volunteers for appropriate hygiene promotion.
∎ Ensure close liaison & consultation with Community leaders, Imam, Majhi during implementation of the WASH services.
∎ Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly HH visit report, sessions report, monitoring reports etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent coordination capacity with individuals and community group representatives
∎ Excellent spoken Chittogonian or Rohingyan, essential
∎ Must be ready to work in a multi-cultural environment
∎ Appropriate communication skill and approachable
∎ Must have no history of violation of children rights
∎ Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina
∎ Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment
∎ Must be willing and able to travel in camp locations in Ukhiya
∎ Project locations are in remote areas in refugee camp. Staff is expected to live in his/her based location.
Salary: Negotiable
