Educational Requirements:
∎ Degree in WASH related subject (BSc/Diploma in electrical engineering)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement the WASH services,
∎ Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly work plan for the operation and maintenance of WASH facilities in his/her assigned block/camps that are included but not limited to water distribution network, solid waste management sites and FSMs,
∎ Manage daily labor & SWM volunteers to ensure hygienic environment in the assigned block/camps,
∎ Conduct capacity building training/On-job coaching for SWM workers,
∎ Ensure 100% functionality of WASH facilities in the assigned block/camps,
∎ Validate quality materials are received in the field from vendors/other stakeholders,
∎ Ensure the careful use, regular servicing and appropriate replacement of all equipment for the assigned project,
∎ Ensure close liaison & consultation with Communities leaders, Imam, Majhi during implementation of the WASH services,
∎ Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly O&M report, monitoring reports etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Familiarity with the issues around water, sanitation and hygiene related issues and behaviors,
∎ Familiarity with protection issues in WASH, gender & Inclusion in WASH and accountability to affected persons programming,
∎ Familiarities of using KOBO/other online survey tools and methods of data collection,
∎ Excellent coordination capacity with individuals and community group,
∎ Excellent spoken Chittogonian or Rohingyan, desirable,
∎ Must be ready to work in a multi-cultural environment,
∎ Appropriate communication skill and approachable,
∎ Must have no history of violation of children rights,
∎ Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina,
∎ Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment,
∎ Must be willing and able to travel in camp locations in Ukhiya
Salary: Negotiable
