Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a detail-oriented Visual Content Strategist to join our content team to support the content creation process. Your primary responsibility will be to research assigned article topics, curate high-quality images as needed, and integrate these images/content onto our websites.
∎ As a Visual Content Strategist, you will have the opportunity to work from anywhere while contributing to the visual appeal of our website content.
∎ Location: Remote
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with content writers and editors remotely to understand article topics and desired image requirements.
∎ Conduct extensive online research to find relevant and high-quality images from stock sites that align with the content.
∎ Ensure all selected images are appropriately sized, licensed, and comply with copyright laws and usage rights.
∎ Collaborate remotely with the team to ensure the photos are accurate and optimized for web usage.
∎ Draft content with images and create infographics.
∎ Provide suggestions and recommendations for image selection to improve the overall visual impact of the articles.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Access to a laptop/computer with a high-speed internet connection.
∎ Basic computer knowledge and internet surfing skills.
∎ Ability to understand a topic by researching before working on the visuals.
∎ Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for selecting visually appealing images.
∎ Effective communication and collaboration skills are needed to work remotely with content leads, content writers, and editors.
∎ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote, fast-paced environment.
∎ Proficient in conducting online image research using various sources and tools.
∎ Basic knowledge of image optimization techniques.
∎ Proficiency in using image editing software such as Canva.
