Job Context:
∎ U.S. Embassy Dhaka is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Visa Assistant.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Incumbent performs duties as Immigrant Visa (IV) Assistant in the IV unit of the Consular Section. Incumbent executes all procedures associated with the processing and printing of Immigrant Visas. Incumbent is primary fraud detection analyst in IV Team who would go through documents that are submitted by the applicants and also look into Consular
∎ Consolidated Database and keep a note for adjudicators about his/her findings. Incumbent performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of two years' experience in administrative, government or para-professional fields is required.
∎ Fluent (speaking/reading/writing) in English and Bangla is required. This may be tested.
