Additional Requirements:
- Strong skills in video editing and motion graphics.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with GeoLayers 3 or map-based animation workflows.
- Good understanding of color, typography, and composition.
- Familiarity with ElevenLabs, Envato Elements, Motion Array and template customization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Experience in news, media, or storytelling environments is a plus.
Responsibilities & Context:
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Video, Motion Graphics, and 2D/3D Map Animation Editor to join our creative newsroom in Uttara, Sector 7, Dhaka.
You’ll work closely with our editorial and design teams to craft visually dynamic videos, motion sequences, and animated maps that bring news and features to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality videos using Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Create engaging motion graphics and visual effects using After Effects or DaVinci Resolve (Fusion)
- Design and animate 2D/3D map visualizations using GeoLayers 3 (or equivalent tools)
- Collaborate with reporters and designers to enhance storytelling through visuals
- Manage renders, exports, and platform-specific optimization (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Maintain consistency with Dhaka Heralds visual style and brand guidelines.
