Job Context:
∎ An International Software Company is looking for an experienced UX/UI Manager with 9+ years of experience to join our Dhaka team.

∎ We are on the hunt for a unique individual that can handle the responsibilities of a Manager who also will roll their sleeves up and be a hands-on, Individual Contributor and establish a team that adheres to best practices and can own product design + user experience design.
∎ We need this person to be able to create user stories, identify customer pain points, establish interaction design, produce low fidelity as well as high fidelity wireframes and click-thru prototypes, do some visual design and get us to a point where the design is fully flushed out.
∎ This goes beyond designing a feature, you will be responsible for designing our modular / overall application information architecture as well as basics like application navigation, and overall customer interaction.
∎ This person will have the ability to own the entire design process and lead projects from start to finish. Ideally this person will be able to come in and question the way we are currently operating and make detailed, thoughtful suggestions for change.
∎ We need the type of designer that can lead a meeting and describe the direction of their designs and then go back to their desk and do the work. We need a hands on leader. This person needs to be comfortable with strategic integration and architecture and have an acute sense of design resource.
∎ Individual we are looking for must be experienced in working in a fast paced, fast changing, agile environment. You must have the personality to lead your own team members including coaching, mentoring, developing, tracking, recruiting and you are expected to fully collaborate with Development and Q/A team members and provide guidance and contribute to overall project success. You must be a solid team player and possess the personality to work with both technically and culturally diverse set of team members with a wide range of personalities and traits. We expect you to lead by example.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The role is to guide and lead the efforts to unpack complex business problems through innovative and customized design strategies;
∎ Contribute to product design strategy, collaborate and build alignment with key stakeholders, Designers, Head of Product, CTO, and the leadership team to ensure the strategy delivers on both the customer and business goals;
∎ Participate in optimizing overall information architecture and cross-team design explorations;
∎ In-depth knowledge and understanding of customer empathy and passion to deliver customer value;
∎ Structure user research to strategically learn what excites customers and holds them back to inform roadmaps and design decisions;
∎ Coordinate cross-functional feature-work of product designers with product managers and front-end engineers;
∎ Well-structured in your workflow and ability to quickly grasp complex requirements;
∎ Knowledge share with the team on design processes and cooperate them to high-quality design outcomes;
∎ Demonstrate a clear understanding of basic design principles and how they apply to digital experiences;
∎ Provide clear rationale for design decisions;
∎ Detail focused and understand that design is a craft;
∎ Understand user-centric design/experience best practices;
∎ Have knowledge of accessibility best practices and how it applies to design and digital experiences;
∎ Understand design systems and component driven applications;
∎ Can context switch between multiple projects and platforms with differing deadlines;
∎ Understand how to plan for iterative design implementation;
∎ Low fidelity to high fidelity wireframes;
∎ Attention to detail.

Salary: Tk. 150000 - 250000 (Monthly)
