Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ This position has overall responsibility for the coordination, technical support and management of all current and upcoming PNS (CLEAR-ll, CERCLSC, Gildan, Desile & any New PNS) projects activities and staff to contribute to reduce child labour and street children in Urban Programme communities.
∎ S/he will have overall responsibility for ensuring that; the goals and outcomes of the projects are met, and that the projects are in line with the policies of WV and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs-MOFA, Japan, Singapore and other Support Country as well as local donors. S/he will also tap technical expertise from inside WVB and from local level GO/NGOs in need. S/he will also have overall responsibility for the supervision of the technical and programmatic deliverables of the field team. This position will report to the Technical Programme Manager-Urban Programme, with matrix report to Deputy Director, Urban & Rural Cluster, World Vision Bangladesh.
∎ Project Coordinator will be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of the goal and outcomes of the projects and will regularly report the progress of the projects implementation in achieving them. S/he will also be responsible of managing the field level implementation of the projects.
∎ S/he will also maintain all external stakeholder’s engagement related to projects, including Government liaison, Policy compliance, financial management, performance management, staff well-being, budget control, project performance monitoring, knowledge management, reporting, and evaluations.
∎ He/she will also establish & maintain liaison, networking with the relevant stakeholders within organization as well as outside organization necessary for their support, communication and sharing.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide the overall technical and administrative management support for the project and maintain accountability to the support Country WV staff (Japan, Singapore & others) Donor and to WV in the field, including ensuring all reporting is delivered on time and is of high quality.
∎ Keep close networking with Technical Program Manager, Urban Programme, WVB for concurrence of implementation.
∎ Maintain area integration and beneficiary’s integration with Urban Programme working area.
∎ Provide leadership in the startup, implementation and phase out of the projects achieving goal and outcomes of the projects mobilizing staff, facilitators and other resources; while ensuring that the donor and WVB reporting requirements.
∎ Work with the Technical Program Manager, lead on project learning across WVB and WVJ, WVS & others.
∎ Build staff capacities in area of monitoring, documentation, innovation and support of projects implementation.
∎ Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Technical Program Manager and WVB.
∎ Provide /Tap Technical concurrence from WVB and other stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Clear Understanding on the project issues like Child Labour, Child Rights, Child Protection, Health, Education, Livelihood, communication and has to work on.
∎ Proven excellent leadership capacity in managing the similar type of staff and stakeholders.
∎ Technically sound on Child Labour Policy, Labour Policy, Child Acts, Advocacy approaches, community mobilization, working with stakeholders.
∎ Technically sound and hands on experience on child Labour s & street children reducing process & procedure.
∎ Ability to manage /ensure quality of field work from assigned officer.
∎ Knowledge on current development and emergence issues specially in relevant field.
∎ Good conceptual and practical skills to write project concept paper and design documents of the project.
∎ Good conceptual and practical skill and knowledge on Child labour, Advocacy and child protection.
∎ Good knowledge and skills in forecasting and budgeting.
∎ Baseline survey, Evaluation and Monitoring process and tools.
∎ Good facilitation skill of Training, Seminar and Advocacy programs.
∎ Good communication and networking skill.
∎ Good command in English & Bengali, both written and verbal.
∎ Decision making and conflict resolution skills.
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point presentation.
∎ Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation.
∎ Minimum 3 years leadership & management experience in the same field, justice and/or child rights issues.
∎ World Vision experience in education/ sponsorship/livelihoods sector/PNS/Grants
∎ Demonstrated commitment to World Vision values and philosophy, and capacity to engage with the broader community in living these values.
∎ Must be willing and able to work in the project area of Child Labour, Street Children, people of MV, ethical minority, including diverse community and need to work with the Projects team.

Salary: Tk. 55000 - 60000 (Monthly)
