Job Context:
∎ ARCO is a non-profit making NGO working for the deprived and most disadvantaged poor communities, especially Adibashi and Dalit communities of plain land. It was affiliated with Department of Social Welfare from 1997 and NGO affairs bureau from 1999. ARCO is implementing Resilience to Economic Volatility of Indigenous and Vulnerable populations through Empowerment (REVIVE) project at Niamatpur, Manda & Dhamoirhat Upazila under Naogaon district which is funded by Switzerland Embassy and HEKS/EPER Switzerland.
∎ ARCO invites application from the experienced professionals with proven track record for the above mentioned position for the mentioned project.
∎ Reportable to: The Project Coordinator -REVIVE of ARCO and dotted matrix responsibility to Project Officer -REVIVE and organizational Management
∎ Project duration up to 30 June 2023 and subject to renewal availability of fund.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of project activity implementation plan of responsible Upazila and ensure its quality implementation timely together with the Community Development Organizer (CDO)
∎ Prepare and maintain community/group and beneficiary list of the responsible Upazila with necessary information.
∎ Maintain close communication with the Project Officer and Project Coordinator, of REVIVE project and seek guidance to meet donor requirements.
∎ Properly maintain C-19 Protocol and Complaint Response Mechanism (CRM) during cash and other support distribution and different activities.
∎ Participate in Upazila NGO coordination meeting arranged by government.
∎ Organize monthly staff coordination meeting, review progress, analyze backlog and planning for future accordingly.
∎ Maintain organizational and project related confidentiality.
∎ Arrange group/Community meeting/workshop, campaign.
∎ Supervise the field facilitator on regular basis for smoothly operation of the project.
∎ Visit the target group members regularly.
∎ Generate new and innovative ideas for effective implementation of project activities.
∎ Create gender sensitivity and staff friendly environment in project operations.
∎ Assist in a team building and dynamic leadership.
∎ Lead the team for planning and implementation of activities as per project designed.
∎ Facilitate meeting, discussion, training session, technical support, and guidance to the target group as well as staff.
∎ Day to day supervision of Community Development Organizers (CDO) and beneficiary Group/Communities and provide them guidance support.
∎ Supervise documentation and preservation of records and documents of responsible Upazila Office
∎ Conduct monitoring of Group/community activities.
∎ Responsible for Management of responsible Upazila staff team (CDOs') of the project
∎ Provide formal and informal Mentoring support to CDOs' for their professional capacity building
∎ Participate in capacity building events (training, workshop, learning-sharing, exchange visit) inside or outside the project
∎ Share learnings and experience with CDO team after participating any training/workshop/exchange visit or like other event.
∎ Facilitate staff or beneficiary training/meeting/workshop as and when necessary
∎ Facilitate monthly staff coordination meeting at Upzila level.
∎ Assist the PC/PO in preparation of financial plan according to approved budget and execute its quality implementation
∎ Maintain all compliances and policies in implementation of project activities and staff management
∎ Supervise use (by staffs) and caretaking of office equipment, vehicles and other resources given from the project
∎ Review monthly expenditure of responsible Upazila offices and seek guidance from PO, PC in this regard
∎ Assist PC, PO by providing information in preparation of financial report.
∎ Regular communication with PC, PO and organization management through proper channel
∎ Coordination and linkage with government department (DAE, DYD, DSW, UHFPO, CC, DHPE, BMDA), Union Parishad, LGIs, local administration, civil society (human rights and cultural activists/institutions, media, social /traditional leaders etc.) and other stakeholders
∎ Keep regular Coordination with CDO team, project beneficiaries and relevant stakeholders.
∎ Keep close contact with leaders of the targeted people, community leaders, especially elected bodies.
∎ Close communication with groups as well as project beneficiaries.
∎ Bring under involvement the poor female-male into a platform for their socio- economic development.
∎ Maintain good relation with other staff of the office.
∎ Prepare monthly/quarterly/six-monthly/annual quality report of responsible Upazila and timely submit to the authority
∎ Produce quality event report (training, seminar, workshop, donor visit and other incident) and submit to the counterpart
∎ Prepare regular field visit report with constructive feedback for improvement and share the same with team members.
∎ Submission of reports to Project Coordinator or respective authority in time.
∎ Review program related monthly reports.
∎ Preserve project related documents.
∎ To prepare record and documents and preserve it as per project needs and share with the stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience Requirements : At least 3 to 8 years
∎ Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience preferably with NGO experience in a supervisory level position of livelihood/food security, community development or other relevant development project/program.
∎ Must have team supervision experience, basic knowledge on financial management, working under pressure and timely completion of quality deliverables.
∎ Essential experience in managing administration/office management
∎ Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
∎ Working experience with ethnic, Dalit, person with disability other marginalized communities will be considered as an advantage in favor of the candidature.
∎ Have independently report writing skill both in Bengali and English
∎ Must have attractive presentation and facilitation skills.
∎ Having Motorcycle driving skill with valid driving license is must for candidate.
∎ Skill in MS word, excel, PowerPoint, internet browsing is required.

Salary: Tk. 36667 (Monthly)
