Job Context:
∎ Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) is a NGO is looking for a qualified Unit Manager (UM) for `Combating impacts of climate change in severely affected areas of Bangladesh, Project.
∎ Supported by: NETZ Bangladesh.
∎ Job Nature: Full-time up to project period based on performance
∎ Job Location: Nageshari, Kurigram
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years working experiences with proven skill and competencies in livelihood, disaster management and climate change. Responsible for overall activities of the project in Unit/Upazila level; supervise field facilitators and providing accompaniment support to the project staff; provide training, facilitate training session, technical support and guidance to the target group as well as staff. Maintain effective liaison with local elected bodies, Upazilla level Govt. officials, Community Based Organizations and non-government organizations as required.
∎ Proven experiences on program planning, implementation, budgeting, financial management, staff management, report writing and monitoring & evaluation. Clear conception/ understanding on livelihood and mainstreaming gender and right based project dynamics. The applicant should have computer skill on MS word, excel, power point and others. Experience on network/linkage/collaboration with union/upazila/district level administration and national level network and like-minded organizations. Should have valid Motor bike driving license. Willing to stay at upazila level with frequent visit to the remote areas.
Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary BDT. 31,500/-(Maximum)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 1 festival bonus and 1 gratuity equivalent to 1 month gross salary each
