Job Context:
∎ Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) is a NGO is looking for a qualified Unit Accountant (UA) for `Combating impacts of climate change in severely affected areas of Bangladesh Project.
∎ Supported by: NETZ Bangladesh.
∎ Job Nature: Full-time up to project period based on performance
∎ Job Location: Nageshari,Kurigram
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years working experience in relevant position Unit Accountants are responsible for maintaining day to day accounts at unit level, assist staff and target groups in procuring assets maintaining procurement policy, provide financial statement to the project office, check pass book of target groups & reconcile with other account related books, support in auditing and verification etc.
∎ Proven skills in financial management, managing of donor/partners funds, VAT, Tax and relevant compliance. Required skills on budget preparation budget monitoring and review of project expenses. Good administrative and leadership skills, ability to work in a team and good interpersonal skill. Knowledge on procurement procedure, different payment procedures and maintain books of accounts. Computer skill on MS word, Excel, Power point and email communication. Should have valid Motor bike driving license.
Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary BDT. 21,500/- (Maximum)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 1 festival bonus and 1 gratuity equivalent to 1 month gross salary each
