Job Context:
∎ The overall purpose of this position is to conduct training and maintain coordination among the stakeholders. S/he will conduct capacity-building activities among the key stakeholders especially teachers of Government Primary School & Learning Centre, SMCs of the targeted area under Teknaf and Ukiya as per project target with the support Education sector and Govt affiliated department. S/he will contribute to the project goal of positive parenting, capacity building, and system strengthening of key stakeholders with the support of Govt and local partners. The position requires strong communication and mobilization skills among the project stakeholders. Apart from this, S/he will work closely with Upazilla Primary Education Office), the Education Sector, relevant service providers, Govt primary school teachers, and relevant technical expertise to ensure quality programming with particular emphasis on positive parenting, Early childhood development, capacity building, system strengthening, Govt primary school programming, CP mainstreaming, LSBE, CP case management, child-friendly spaces, Early childhood development & Youth Programming. This position reports to the Project Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Training Organizer will conduct capacity-building training, and strengthen GPS and LC teachers in both camp and HC.
∎ Facilitate need assessment, problem identification, service mapping, and situation analysis.
∎ Integration/coordination with Education sectors and Govt. affiliated departments to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
∎ Ensure close coordination among the sector and assistants for quality programming.
∎ Track and analyze regular project progress, detail implementation plan, and consult with the relevant sector/project manager for financial tracking.
∎ Prepare and share daily, weekly, half-yearly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly to respective authorities, partners, and sectors where applicable.
∎ Ensure field-level coordination with key stakeholders, Camp In Charge, School authorities, sector representatives, primary education department, site management, School Management Committee, and Camp coordination.
∎ Strengthen relationships with DPEO, UPEO, VDC, SMC, GPS, CIC, UNO, local leader, Chairman, Word commissioner, Majhee, Block committee, Key stakeholders of the Rohingya and host community.
∎ Advocate on positive parenting, system strengthening, capacity building, Education issues in forums and meetings, collaborate with Govt. and like-minded Non. Govt. organizations.
∎ Building Facilitated capacity of host community and Rohingya teachers by coaching, training, workshops, and orientation.
∎ Supervised and monitored the host community and Rohingya teachers in program implementation services.
∎ Develop and use different IEC/BCC materials for Education activities.
∎ Increasing demonstration and understanding of commitment to World Vision’s core values in the approach to work and relationships.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Proficient English communication skills (both oral and written).
∎ Advanced knowledge of CPMS, Red Cross, and NGO Code of Conduct.
∎ Strong interpersonal relationship and team-building background.
∎ Excellent analytical, documentation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
∎ Possess the ability to work with different partners, Govt officials, local authorities, sectors, local organizations, and NGOs, to develop and maintain positive collaboration and relationships.
∎ Must be ready to work in a multi-cultural environments.
∎ Familiar with GPS, LC, Myanmar curriculum, peacebuilding, community engagement, and adolescent engagement.
∎ Appropriate communication skills and approachable.
∎ Must have no history of violation of children's rights.
∎ Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity, and physical stamina.
∎ Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.
∎ Working with computer data and data management.
∎ Past exposure to working in education and management.
∎ Awareness of children’s rights.
∎ Experience working in a team and collaboration with partners.
